Kathy joined Meeting Coordinators in March of 2014. She brings over 25 years of experience in the communications field, having held various administrative positions in sales and marketing with AT&T Advertising Solutions. Kathy has a great deal of experience in meeting and event planning, as well as extensive computer software platform and program expertise.

DEBRA NIGOHOSIAN

CONFERENCE & NON-PROFIT ASSOCIATION MANAGER


Debra is the newest member of Meeting Coordinators, Inc., joining in November 2019. She has 9+ years’ experience in planning a large conference nationally and internationally. She has extensive knowledge of contract negotiations (hotel, A/V, banquet BEOs and event logistics), event registration, signage, and solicitation of event exhibitors/sponsors. She has also volunteered with a local charity group for 20+ years where she handled registration, advertising, and bookkeeping. Debra loves all aspects of planning an event. She is excited to be a part of the MCI team and to be planning events in Michigan.

  • Meeting & Events Coordinator (full time)​ - Responsible for assisting with project-based programs, social media and client postings, research and association membership development.
  • Communications/Marketing Intern - Responsible for drafting marketing and social media plans, creating press releases, updating websites and following up on projects. Paid internship with hours accommodating student schedule and academic requirements.

ANN K. BRUTTELL

President & founder


Ann has distinguished herself in the field of corporate and association meeting management for over 25 years in several key national markets.  She has developed, organized and executed complete programs for 5 to 30,000 participants on a local, national and international basis. After completing her education in Michigan, she worked in Washington, D.C. for 10 years in the field of meeting logistics and management. She returned to Michigan in 1982 to work for an international membership organization; planning their national and international meetings. In 1988, she ventured out on her own, forming the successful Meeting Coordinators, Inc. to deliver organization, logistical planning and creative solutions to meetings and events for multiple clients.

Renata Kostencova

Project Manager


Renata started as our Project Manager January 2019. She recently moved to Michigan from the Czech Republic. She is a dynamic event & marketing professional with 15 years of global experience. Her focus has been on strategic marketing, brand management, and new product launches. She has a great ability to plan and execute internal & external events and expos. Renata decided to continue her event management path and took an opportunity to join our team for which we are thrilled.

Marcy joined the team in December 2017. She brings a strong association and meeting professional background to Meeting Coordinators, with over 20 years' experience in corporate, association and social programs at the local, state, national and international level. Marcy has a MBA, with emphasis in training and finance from Wayne State University. She received her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University in Hotel Management. Marcy is a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) and a Certified Association Executive (CAE), and serves on various non-profit boards.

PROJECT ASSISTANT


Cindy joins us with 35+ years of community and school volunteer experience, where she worked on meeting and event planning, fundraising, membership drives and newsletter writing.  Cindy is notoriously camera shy, but would be more than happy to share a picture of her large family!
